A birthday visit to Pizza Hut

Sarah celebrated her 6th birthday on Nov. 20. The Wieland girls went out for pizza that night and had a family birthday party on Saturday. We waited until after Thanksgiving for the friend party at McDonald's. A good time was had by all!

Programs

Sarah singing "The 12 Days of Christmas" - She was the first day!

Singing out!
Rachel performing in her school program.

Making her school solo debut.
Sassy actions!

It was the season of concerts and programs not only for me, but for the girls too! Rachel was an elf in her school play. She had a speaking part and a solo. It was so fun to hear her sing (even though I was directing).

Sarah had her Kindergarten Program during school. This was the only program I was able to sit and watch instead of direct. I am not teaching Kindergarten Music this year so it was fun to see her help lead her class in song.

The girls also had a Sunday School program at church. All three were able to participate and did a very nice job proclaiming the news of the birth of Christ!

Merry Christmas

All smiles Christmas morning.

Merry Christmas!! A friend of mine was giving me a hard time the other day about not updating my blog. Sorry! In my defense, Nov/Dec. is the busiest month of the year for a music teacher and mother so I don't feel too bad about the situation.

We had a nice Christmas admist the Christmas Blizzard 2009. We celebrated Christmas Eve and Day with Todd's family. We are headed to the Cities this weekend for Christmas with the Printz side. Hopefully, the roads will be ready for travel by Sunday morning. Here are a few pics from the Christmas.
