Time Change

This "Spring Ahead" time change can really be rough on a little guy!

Luke's Birthday

Luke celebrated his first birthday this past Tuesday, March 12.  Due to our remodeling project, we had a very low-key celebration.  Cupcakes were had and a few presents were opened.  Luke received a Little People Farm from Mom and Dad, a Bubble Popper from his sisters and some clothes and an toy piano from Grandma and Papa.  We will have a big family celebration after Easter!

I'm just like Mom - I LOVE a good dessert!

After all that cake, Mom had to strip me down before I opened presents.

These presents are almost as big as I am!

Kitchen/Laundry Room Remodel

Our final remodeling project (for now) is completed.  We added a laundry room/mud room complete with a new washer and dryer.  The kitchen was completely gutted and redone with new cabinets, countertops and flooring.  We also put new flooring in both entry ways and the hallway.  Thanks to our brother-in-law, Bob, the entire remodel was done within 2 weeks!  Everything has been put away and the rooms have been painted.  Enjoy the before, during and after pics!

Florida

We were able to escape the cold, harsh Minnesota winter for some fun in the sun at Disney World.  What a wonderful trip!  Almost the whole Wieland clan traveled to sunny Orlando on a Sunday.  During the week, we were able to see The Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios.  We also took a couple of days to go to Cocoa Beach and Sea World.  We stayed at a Disney Resort called Port Orleans Riverside which was not only beautiful but very convient with transportation to and from all of the Disney parks.  The weather was a little cool the first day (only in the 60's) but really warmed up toward the end of the week.  85 degrees on Saturday!  The only time it rained was during the night while everyone was sleeping after a fun day of activity.  It was so nice to escape the daily grind of life and enjoy some fun with our family.  Here are some pics from our travels:
