Don't wake the baby!

A rare moment when he isn't being "checked on" by his sisters.  He loves his naps!

Piano Recital Again

I tried to change the settings on the piano recitals so everyone can view it.  I hope it works:

We celebrated Awards Day and Kindergarden Graduation at school this morning.  Rachel earned awards for AR Reading, Responsiblity (for turning in her assignment notebook everyday) and Outstanding Attendance.  Sarah earned awards for AR Reading, Outstanding Attendance and Book-It.  Jordan's awards were given out at her spring program but she received her diploma and has graduated from Kindergarden.

Piano Recital

Rachel and Sarah performed in their spring piano recital today.  Sarah played "Jazzy Toccatina" and "Runaway Stagecoach."  Rachel played "Peaceful Night" and a jazzy version of "Amazing Grace."  Both girls did a great job.  I am going to attempt to upload a video so you all can enjoy their performaces as much as we did!

Outside - right before the recital.  They look like they are ready!
Sarah receiving her award for passing level 2a this year - she is currently in level 2b.
Rachel receiving her award for passing out of level 3 this year.
Posing with their teacher, Mrs. Knott.
Is this the way professional pianists stand next to the piano?

Luke in the Sink

Luke took his first bath in the sink last night!  He is getting so big.  He was a little unsure at first but enjoyed the "tub" time when I ran the water.  I am sure we will be using the "big boy" tub in no time at all!

 Quick!  Take my picture!!
I'm not too sure about this.
Well, maybe it isn't too bad.  Shouldn't we be washing me up instead of taking pictures?

Happy Birthday Grandma T.

We celebrated Grandma T.'s birthday and Mother's Day last weekend.  It was busy with a trip to the Portrait Studio, lunch, Heart of Worship Concert and shopping.  We all had a good time!
 Snuggles!
Happy Birthday!

Jordan's Spring Program

 Lookin' Good for my program!
 I'm great a choreography.
I can sing and play the drum at the same time!
Showing off my award with my BFF, Conner
 I'm a Super Reader!
Jordan was going to give her blanket and "moo-moo" to Luke but we thought she better keep it.  Good thing - she was asleep with them shortly after this picture was taken.
All smiles with one less tooth in the mix!

Spring Music

Rachel and Sarah performed in their Spring Program this past Thursday night.  Sarah sang a few songs with her class and played an instrument called a "Boomwacker."  Rachel sang in the Music Makers Choir and also performed a few songs with her class.  It was very odd for me to be sitting in the audience and not directing a show.  The program was certainly different from what I usually do but the sub did a nice job.  It was interesting to see what the kids were working on in music while I have been away.  I miss my students but love staying at home with Luke!

 All ready for the show!

 Lookin' good!

 Sarah playing the "Boomwacker"

 "Do-Re-Mi"

 Whew!  I'm finished!

 Getting ready to perform!

 Singing away!

Rachel had the opportunity to participate in the MBDA Honor Band last weekend.  She was one of 3 chosen from her class to represent Red Lake Falls.  We traveled to Moorhead to hear her perform the pieces she has been working on over the past several weeks.  It was wonderful to hear a really good 1st year band!  Great job Rach!

 Performing trumpet in the band.

Action shot!  She was trying to escape her crazy mother with the camera.
