Pictures!

Here is the kids' family portrait for 2013.

It took some doing because Luke was not cooperative the first time.  I think there were too many people in the studio and too much noise.  The picture gal picked him up and he got scared.  Tears began and didn't stop.  We rescheduled and got a few good pictures of Luke by himself and this nice one of all 4 kids.

Fall Catch-up!

Sorry it has been so long since my last post!  When I go back to work and the kids go back to school activities, life gets really busy!  Here are a few pics from the fall!

Uncle Andy and Auntie Darla came for a visit over Labor Day weekend.  What fun to have them up here!  They even rode in a combine while Todd was combining some wheat.

1st Day of School!  Looking sharp for 7th Grade, 4th Grade, 2nd Grade and Daycare.
He wants his cookie for dessert NOW!
Ready to go out to the deer shed with Uncle Al.
Helping Dad check out the day's catch.
Rachel and her catch of the morning.
Ready for her first Jr. High Dance!
Homemade ghost and pumpkin heads.  Very creative, Sarah!
Happy Halloween from the Vampire Princess, Navy Girl and Mr. Alligator
Luke loves puppies and refused to take off his sister's puppy shirt.
 This is my big pumpkin!
 Jordan's favorite part - GUTS!
Sarah isn't sure if she loves it or thinks it's gross.
Never too old for a pumpkin carving picture (even though she thinks she is)
Diggin' in for his first pumpkin carving experience!
Oh boy!  This is really fun!
Lots of work but we have a great final product.
Spooky!

This and That

I think this is how you are suppose to crack Dad's back.

Summer Fun

We had a fun trip to the Cities in July.  Mom had her 20th High School Reunion.  That is hard to believe since she is still so good looking!  Here are some things we enjoyed doing during our visit:
- Swimming in the Schulte's pool
- Going to SkyZone (a trampoline park) with our cousins
- Going to a movie with Grandpa Printz
- Shopping with Grandma T.
- Having fun at a waterpark with mom's friend, Sara and her daughter, Madi

Luke's new best friend, Hillary the dog
 I'm trying to jump!
 This is fun!
Stop taking pictures so I can go jump!
Look how high I can go!

 Fun in the pool!

 The gang's all here.
A pic from earlier this summer when the Schulte's came to visit us!

Mack the Puppy

After our beloved, Sammy, passed away in January, we decided it was time to purchase a new dog.  Meet Mack!  He was born in North Dakota and is a short-haired border collie.  Ready to whip the cattle into shape!

 No more kisses!
 I love our new pup!
Luke and Mack like to give kisses.

It was tough at first, but now Mack and Sadie are friends!

County Fair Time

Once again, we ventured up to Thief River Falls for the annual Pennington County Fair.  We went through the 4-H barns and the kids had some fun on the rides.  Of course, it wouldn't be a great trip to the fair if we didn't indulge in some cheese curds and corn dogs!  Hopefully, we will be able to visit the MN State Fair one of these years.
Sarah and Rachel having fun on a fast ride.
Who will be first down the slide - Jordan or Sarah?

4th of July Fun - 2013

We took the kids to Grand Forks on the 4th of July this year.  We enjoyed fair food, exhibits and some rides.  It was warm out but the kids had a blast.  No fireworks this year - we can't stay up that late yet!

All decked out in Red, White and Blue

 Sporting their new henna tattoos
 Happy Birthday America!
 On a Carriage Ride

 What a nice horse!
 Luke loved the petting zoo.
Good thing I like this stroller or else we might have a problem.

Softball

Summer is passing by quickly and so did softball season!  All three girls participated this summer.  It was a lot of driving to practices and games!  I have told people that I believe softball participation was the lesser of two evils.  Either spend my summer driving for softball or spend my summer breaking up girl fights amongst the three girls!  At least the weather was nice for most of the games and practices.

The Rascal running to 1st Base.
Do I hold the bat like this?
 Or like this?

Still waiting on pictures of Sarah from a friend (mine did not turn out well)  Will post when I get some.
