1st Day Of School

Jordan (1st Grade), Rachel (6th Grade), Sarah (3rd Grade), Luke (Daycare - 5 months)

 

The girls were all smiles and ready for school this morning.  I am sure that won't last,  but one can always hope!  Here is a fun quote from Jordan:  "I can't wait to go to school because my desk is in front, right next to the teacher!"  We didn't have the heart to tell her that most kids don't want to sit next to the teacher (it usually isn't a good thing.)  Happy 2012-13 school year!

A visit with Uncle Andy & Aunt Darla

We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend visit with Andy and Darla.  We enjoyed great food and fellowship.  Saturday was spent going to an old-time threshing bee, mini golf and Joe Dimaggio's Bar & Grill.  We spent Sunday at church and just hanging out on the farm.  It was great to see them again!
